Club Membership

Club membership runs annually from 1st January to 31st December , after 1 months of regular attendance it is a club requirement that all players attending the club become members.
This is due to the affiliation with the British Judo Association and keeping to the requirements of the club code of conduct.
Please remember that club membership provides the following benefits:
- Reduced mat fees
- Junior £2.50 (£3.50 Non members)
- Seniors £3.00 (£4.00 Non members)
- Christmas party
- Presentation evening
- Inclusion for events arranged by the club
British Judo Association
Membership of the British Judo Association which also includes insurance is mandatory for grading and competition purposes, you do not need to be a member to try Judo.
We would also recommend all players obtain a British Judo Association (BJA) licence after an initial period of 4 sessions, participating in judo.
Obtaining a licence provides the player with insurance and the potential to undertaking gradings and compete in competitions, when at the appropriate age of 8 years old.
